The safety and comfort of my clients are just as important, if not more important, than the images I create. I rely on my knowledge and skills as a former obstetrical nurse, my training as a newborn photographer, and my commitment to on-going safety education to make this a priority.
I cannot pass an antique store or craft market with stopping and adding another unique item to use in styling my newborn or child sessions. Online photography prop vendors have made cyber Monday my favorite holiday! I have a very large collection of baskets, bowls, and boxes to nestle your sweet little ones in, as well as a large variety of clothing, wraps, and accessories to make them look even more adorable than they already are. My maternity gown collection includes a variety of styles and colors, and items may be used during your maternity and newborn session at no additional charge.
I love to incorporate heirloom items into some of the set-ups during a session. Special teddy bears, bridal veils, mom’s wedding pearls, pieces of dad’s very worn security blanket, saddles, and even a quilt made by a family member during the Civil War are only some of the items that I have included to make images even more treasured.
Prior to your session, I either meet with you in person or spend time with you on the telephone discussing your style and color preferences, your plans for displaying the images, and the types of images you would like.
Within a short time following your session, your gallery of edited images will be made available for you to view. I will help you to choose the best images to meet your needs for wall art, gift prints, albums, birth announcements, or any of the many other novelty items for displaying your memories.
